  • DSP participation requirements

    Participation requirements are things some people with intellectual disability need to do to keep getting Disability Support Pension (DSP) payments.

  • Employment Assistance Fund (EAF)

    Employment Assistance Fund (EAF) funding covers the costs of making reasonable changes to a workplace so that someone with disability can do their job. The Australian Government provides this funding.

  • Employment Services Assessment (ESAt)

    An Employment Services Assessment (ESAt) is a test done by Centrelink. This test helps Centrelink decide what kind of employment service you need to help you find and keep a job.

  • Income support payment

    A type of regular payment from the government that helps eligible people who can’t work for various reasons with the cost of living.

  • Individual transition plan (ITP)

    A plan to support a young person’s transition from high school into adult life. These might be called something different, depending on your school and which State or Territory you live.

  • Intellectual disability

    Intellectual disability describes a range of impairments, experiences and characteristics. It can involve difficulty with communication, memory, understanding, problem solving, fine and gross motor skills, and everyday life skills.
