NDIS School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES)
Back to the A-Z of open employment
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) is a type of employment support you can pay for with NDIS funding. It can help young people to get ready for work.
SLES is an NDIS Capacity Building Support. Itβs one of many NDIS supports that help young people to plan and start on a pathway towards open employment.
SLES is not a program. SLES is:
- a way to get personalised support that meets your employment goals
- support that is based on conversations between you and your SLES provider
included alongside other supports in your NDIS plan. For example, you might have SLES funding as well as funding for employment counselling.
