DSP non-medical rules

DSP non-medical rules are the second set of rules Centrelink uses to check if you’re eligible for the Disability Support Pension (DSP). Everyone must meet these rules to be eligible for the DSP.
These rules are:
- you must be aged between 16 years and the Age Pension age (currently 66, but will go up to 67 in 2023)
- you meet Australian residency rules
- you meet the income and assets test.

The other set of rules Centrelink uses to see if you’re eligible are the DSP medical rules.
